Heaven Needed a Hero. Daughter of a fallen soldier tribute...

Hailey Summers, Daughter of CPL James E. Summers, III, remembers the sacrifice of her father and is going to be honoring him by sharing his the story of his life with others. Hero's Way from Southeast Missouri will be helping make that happen for this family by financing a road sign on a major highway next to the soldier's hometown for all who drive by to never forget. Special thanks to Ross Gartman, Tyson Shoemaker, and all involved in helping make this a reality.

James 'Jimmy' Summers was a great friend and companion who lived a life helping build others up. If you weren't smiling... he'd be the one to make sure that you were, whatever it took! He was scheduled to return home from Iraq just 3 weeks before he passed. Jimmy died on Memorial Day in 2007 and leaves behind a daughter, Hailey Summers. She never got the chance to grow up with him. All she knows is what she hears from others and the few pictures available to her.
